One room, several phases of the evening
A New Year's Eve dinner may start with a reception, move into a seated meal and finish with informal conversations. Check more than the seat count: the room must also work when guests arrive, leave their tables or gather in small groups.
Plan tables around the programme
Draw the chosen furniture to its actual dimensions. Allow for chairs being pulled out and service routes agreed with the venue and caterer. If furniture needs to move after dinner, decide who may move it and where it can be safely stored.
Give table settings room to work
A restrained palette and a few recurring materials can create a coherent setting. Test a complete table: can guests see one another, share food and put glasses down safely? Check candles and electrical decorations against the venue's rules and product instructions.
Consider arrival and midnight
Avoid blocking a narrow entrance with coat storage. Coordinate arrival, drinks service and seating. Agree the countdown schedule with the responsible suppliers and check access and permitted use before including an outdoor area.
Confirm responsibilities
Record who opens the venue for delivery, who handles food and drinks and when dismantling is allowed. Include rental dates and returns. Unit rental prices do not automatically cover transport, labour or additional services.
Fireworks and pyrotechnics are not part of this design concept. Do not assume indoor pyrotechnics are safe: applicable rules, product instructions, venue permission and professional assessment must be respected.

Select individual furniture and décor in the rental catalogue, explore curated event styles, or use the separate business formats for a company occasion. These do not automatically include a venue, catering or entertainment.
